Everyone uses LLN skills every day for a variety of purposes – personal, social, training and work.
Different tasks and contexts need different types of reading, writing, listening, speaking and numeracy skills, so people need to continually develop and adapt these skills to suit new situations.
The purpose of this policy and related procedure is to establish guidelines to identify students in need of support for their basic skills in English language, literacy and numeracy (LLN), and also for the provision of these support services to students to enable them to participate effectively in Comtech Trainings vocational courses
