ICT30515 - Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology

This Qualification is nationally recognised and forms part of an AQF certification.
Students will have to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy on line assessment (more information here)
as well as successfully complete all the online content before attending class.

This Qualification is designed for students wanting to formalise their training and work in the telecommunications industry.

The course has been designed for units to be grouped together for specific job outcomes for example

I already work in industry, can I get recognition?

This course has been designed for people who are already working in industry. If you have current registration or endorsements, old qualifications or units of competency or just extensive industry experience, we can help. We can assist students through a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Assessment Only (AO) pathway. For more information about this, please contact one of our friendly representatives.

Who can study?

There are no entry requirements for this course. However, Language, Literacy & Numeracy Assessments will be undertaken upon commencement to determine if any additional support strategies are required.

How much does the course cost?

Total course fees for fee for service (full fee paying) students is $4000.00
This cost is brocken up into staged payments that are due prior to the commencement of clustered units or courses.

  1. $400 is a non refunable administration fee payable before training can begin (online or face to face)
  2. $1100 paid at the 6 month mark
  3. $2500 payable at the end of 12 months

4. ICTTEN201 Use electrical skills in telecommunications work

Part 1 Cabling Registration

5. ICTCBL236 Install, maintain and modify customer premises communications cabling: ACMA Restricted Rule
6. ICTCBL237 Install, maintain and modify customer premises communications cabling: ACMA Open Rule

How long does the course take?

The nominal duration for the Certificate III in Telecommunications is 12-24 months (depending on jurisdiction). Depending on the study mode and any RPL given the course duration may be shortened.
