HFC Telecommunications Network Technician

Entry Requirements

Not open to the General Public - only open to approved nbn candidates who must hold an enAble ID.

Delivery Mode

The HFC Telecommunications Network Technician course is delivered in a face-to-face classroom format.

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the course and all assessment requirements, students will receive the following national competency:

ICTTEN201 - Use electrical skills in telecommunications work
ICTTEN410 - Locate, diagnose and rectify faults
ICTTEN302 - Install telecommunications network equipment
ICTTEN409 - Commission an electronic system
ICTRFN406 - Maintain hybrid fibre coaxial broadband cable network
ICTRFN401 - Conduct radio frequency measurements

Duration

12 Days (8am – 4.30pm)
