Course Outline

This course specifies the mandatory requirements of occupational health and safety and how they apply to the various electrotechnology work functions.

Level 1 covers security fundamentals associated with the installation and maintenance of security equipment and cabling. It is designed for technicians who have at least 12 months field experience, a White Card and an Individual Security Licence.

Pre-requisites

• ACMA Open Registration
• Structured, Optical Fibre and Coaxial Cabling Endorsements

Note: Acceptable evidence must be submitted and approved prior to receiving a Certificate of Completion.

 4. IP Networking for the Security Industry

• What is a network?
• IP addressing and subnet masks
• Port forwarding
• Design a network

Course Delivery

Online-only (approx 12 hours).

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Completion.
