NB. Comtech Training actively supports and encourages people of all abilities to participate in training programs but reserves the right to not accept course enrolments from students where they may not meet the physical requirements as mandated by course content/training package / industry or Regulatory Body. Terms and Conditions (Full terms and conditions can be found at www.comtech.edu.au/studentinformationguide) Refund due to RTO cancellation or change to course schedule Minimum and maximum numbers apply for all courses. Courses will not proceed if the minimum number of students is not met. Where possible, Comtech Training will give at least 7 business days’ notice of any cancellations or re- scheduling. If Comtech Training has cancelled a course prior to course commencement a full refund will be provided to each enrolled and paid student. In the case that a material event occurs during the delivery of a course that will prevent Comtech Training from providing all units required to meet learners course schedule, students will be given the options of: 1. Completing the revised course at no extra cost 2. Withdrawing from the course with Statement of Attainment issued for completed units and receiving a refund of unused course fees 3. Transferring to another course which meets the original course schedule at no extra cost on the next occasion such course is conducted by Comtech WorkReady Refund Policy (participant course fee) We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the training you asked for. But you can choose to cancel your contract and receive a refund for unconsumed services, if the training has a major problem. This is when the training: has a problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing the training if they had known about it is substantially unfit for its common purpose and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time does not meet the specific purpose you asked for and cannot be easily rectified within a reasonable time creates an unsafe situation Cancellation Policy If the client cancels registration for a training course, transfer and cancellation fees apply. We offer one free transfer per student: 11+ business days prior to course commencement – Cancellation Fee $50, Transfer Fee $150. 6-10 business days prior to course commencement – Cancellation Fee 25%, Transfer Fee $150. 3-5 business days prior to course commencement – Cancellation Fee 50%, Transfer Fee $150. 0-2 business days prior to course commencement OR non-attendance – Cancellation Fee 100%, no Transfers. Cancellation after being granted a previous transfer – minimum Cancellation Fee 25%. If the student has commenced an online course or practical course, no refund will be given. Failure to attend a pre-booked practical session, will attract a $50 re-booking fee when arranging a new date Non Completion of Online Learning Policy If a client attempts to attend classroom training, without completing the online learning element of a course, they will be unable to continue with the classroom training. Comtech Training will also charge the client 100% of the course fee due to them failing to complete an essential part of the course prior to attendance and denying another student the opportunity of the classroom training space. Concessions on course fees The following students are entitled to the concession rate on course fees: a) Persons and dependents of persons holding: - Pensioner Concession Card - Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold or White card - Health Care Card. b) Persons and dependents of persons in receipt of AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY. c) Persons and dependents of persons in receipt of the Youth Allowance. d) Persons who are inmates of a custodial institution. e) Secondary school aged persons not enrolled at school. If the concession is valid for the full enrolment period, then all eligible units commenced within that period attract the concession rate. If the concession is valid for part of the enrolment period, then only eligible units commenced on or after the start date and prior to the expiry of the concession attract the concession rate. If you believe you may be eligible for a concession, please ask your course student administer. Privacy Policy All information provided on this enrolment form is confidential and is only collected by Comtech Training for the purposes of training and assessment, reporting and administration. Comtech Training will only disclose this information and course results to government educational bodies as required for educational surveys and in the auditing process to ensure Comtech Training’s conformance with NVR quality requirements.
